Superbloom Speech Therapy offers a range of services to increase your loved one's articulation, receptive language, expressive language, and social communication skills. These include traditional options such as one-on-one private speech therapy and early intervention, as well as specialized programs such as Talk Yoga™ and Hanen Centre's More Than Words® Program for families with a member on the Autism Spectrum.

All therapy services and programs are offered in-person and online, and are tailored to fit your family's schedule and priorities.

Talk Yoga™!

Traditional Yoga asanas, or positions, combine with communication in order to establish, boost, or enrich a child's skills. During a Talk Yoga™ session, a child learns to use movement, mindfulness, breathing, and their unique voice in fun and engaging ways. Specially designed poses elicit sounds used for speaking and yoga flows, or series of poses, incorporate receptive and expressive language. Recent studies show that Talk Yoga™ sessions led by a certified instructor significantly increase a child's communication and social skills!

Talk Yoga™ sessions are offered one-on-one, to allow for more instruction, and in group settings, to facilitate social skills with peers. 

If your child or loved one has been diagnosed with autism and you would like to learn how to better communicate with them, this program is for you! More Than Words® from the Hanen Centre is a program designed to help parents and caregivers have more meaningful communication between themselves and their children. In the program, parents  and caregivers learn their children's current level of communication, as well as strategies to foster communication development at home. Parents and caregivers also learn about opportunities for communication during existing daily routines and activities their child already enjoys.  There is also a support component to the program as parents and caregivers can connect with peers while learning new strategies together.
