Jessica Maldarelli MS, CCC-SLP, TSSLD has 10+ years of experience providing speech-language therapy to children ranging from early intervention age through young adulthood. Jessica is trained in evidenced-based programs including Hanen Centre's More Than Words, TalkYoga, DIR/Floortime therapy, Wilson Reading Program, FUNdations, and SMiLE Reading Program, amongst others.
Jessica achieved her Bachelor of Arts degree, with a major in Communication Science Disorders and minor in Music, from St. John's University in New York City. She achieved her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from City University of New York's Brooklyn College. While studying for her Master's, she was a Graduate Fellow of her program, providing her with experience as an adjunct professor and administrator.
In addition to speech therapy, she has experience in leading recreational drama classes for adults with disabilities. This includes conducting group activities and helping facilitate musical theater productions.
Jessica is passionate about a child-led approach to intervention, finding each child's strengths and building upon them. She is committed to working closely with your family and everyone on your child's team to achieve best outcomes for therapy. Jessica currently resides in New Jersey with her husband and her dog, Oaken. She enjoys spending time with loved ones, painting, and being in nature.
